This is usually the case, unless those green scraps were used to get people's hands on a delicious blue drink - an out of this world rocketship drink called Zun.This is one of those moments, when a great buzz, fantastic packaging and astronomical taste come together in one delicious harmony.
It is a rocket. This stands far apart from everything else from the shelf - and still manages to slide nicely into your car's drink holder. Zun is one of the most unique drinks you will find in the convenience store, but it stocks easily, packs easily and is recyclable and reusable, all while having a normal 12 ounce plastic bottle lid. The black wrap around the rocket bottle also works to protect the drink from getting old and faded. On top of it all, they list all their ingredients - including caffeine.
And there is a nice dose of caffeine in here too! Not that 110mg is really over the top - but it does exactly what it claims to do - to uncloud your mind. Downing a bottle of Zun won't send you into the stratosphere. Besides the caffeine, there is a good dose of unique ingredients to help give your brain that extra boost it needs some mornings. The Coenzyme Q10, Choline and Ginko Biloba are a very nice touch. You will also find some regular energy drink ingredients, like Taurine, B vitamins, and for some reason, 100% RDA of vitamin E.
Because of this one being a light drink, they ripped out the sugar and replaced it with chemical stuff. This time, the chemical stuff is the usual Ace K and sucralose blend - but then they did something neat. They also added agave nectar - which is a low-glycemic low-calorie simple sugar
This addition of agave seems to be exactly what was needed to keep this drink light, fruity and delicious! Of course the geek in me wants to compare this to a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. The the effect of a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster is like having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick. Zun Light is more like hiring an efficient cleaning service to clean and tidy up your skull. Rather than having one's brains smashed, it picks up after itself, does the dishes and organizes the mail.
My guess it is has bananas and strawberries and vanilla, but it is more than that. There is a cola flavor too, maybe. Either way I am not complaining. This is one of the tastier energy drinks I have ever had. I did not even mind the blue color - which being a color theory guy - you never ever do. But in a diet drink, this works to their advantage, as many diet products are bluish as well.
