Liquid Nitro Energy Shot

For as much as I enjoyed Liqud Nitro's energy drinks, that made me look even more forward to their line of energy shots. These little bottles looks all beautiful and shiny, with great pictures of fruits and promises of tons of energy. I would gladly drink these over most energy shots - although there is only so much melted candy I can pour down my throat.

I liked how they went with a slightly different bottle than going the easy 5 hour energy 2 ounce bottle route. While this is the same kind of bottle seen on a few other shots, it is still going to be a bit more unique landing on the convenience store shelf. Rather than go with a standard label, they dressed it up a bit with pictures of Exotic Berries, which are at least printed nicely and work with the design. While I don't think they added much, I don't think they detracted much either. The fonts are all nice and the shot is very readable - they even listed the caffeine content on back!

While Liquid Nitro does not break any molds, it is certainly a design well done.

WOW! this stuff is sweet - super duper super sweet.Dextrose, Sugar and Sucralose are all added to fruit juice for a drink that is so sweet, your dentist will be screaming at you in your head for the next ten minutes. For being only 3 ounces, I think 2 of them are all the different sugars they pack in here, and the rest is just enough liquid to hold it all together.

IT has a nice juicy fruit punch flavor, only with waaaay too much sugar added. As long as you are ready for it, it is not that bad - like drinking a slightly liquefied candy. There was no medicinal flavor that I could detect, because everything was completely overpowered by THE SWEET.

I really felt a nice punch from this drink - enough so that I could completely forgo my morning coffee and just spend the day in a pleasant super intensity. The 200mg caffeine hit me in about 5 minutes, and carried me through the morning on a nice pleasant caffeine buzz. I did not get any crash from this - and didn't get jittery either. Overall, it is just a great hard-working energy shot that does exactly what it sets out to do.

Besides caffeine and some Vitamin B, the main ingredients in here are all antioxidants - which don't really do anything for you - but are still pushed hard by the natural herbal segment of the population. This drink is FULL of antioxidant friuts and berries, including Gooseberry, Tahitian Noni, Mangosteen and Acai. If you believe in that stuff, then this is definitely the drink for you.

Still , the most important thing is the boost, and this drink has plenty of that.
