Ex Slim energy drinks

These Ex Drinks are just a wonderful thing - especially this Slim flavor. I found the taste profile quite delicious and Kombucha flavor free - with a light sweetness and carbonation. The nutrition and Buzz in this drink is pretty good too. Overall, I would definitely not pass these up if you find them on a shelf near you.

Taste:8 (wife gave it a 4)
I was not so impressed with the flavor of Ex Drinks - although I blame that completely on the flavor of Kombucha. I despise the flavor of the nasty fermented stuff - and Ex drinks was full of it.So I was a little wary of trying Ex Slim, which I expected to be just the same flaovr, only without the sugar. Not to worry though, this flavor is so much tastier than the original - and has lost most of the Kombucha. Great news for me - and bad news for people like my wife, who adored the original flavor.
While this one certainly does have more of that medicinal energy drink flavor, I could - and have - drunk this all day long. I even found myself at night wondering if it was worth it if I could just drink one more.

Packaging:8
Like their full caloried counterpart, these come in slim eight ounce cans, designed a little strangely, with a very busy screamy face on it. I actually like the overall layout - looking like a mix between paint splatters and stenciled art. They even list the caffeine content, which is nice. The only issue I have is that they really should have found a way to double face the can, so it will work better in store shelves.
It would work a whole lot better if it were in a nice big can too - as I liked it way too much to be contained in little eight ounce shooters.

Buzz:7
This they did manage to carry over form the original. This has your normal caffeine ingredients of 80mg caffeine, Asiatic Ginseng, Vitamin B,and makes me happy with lots of Vitamin C. The big draw, of course, is the Kombucha. No need to carry on with the whole Kombucha rant. After all, some people still swear by drinking a glass of apple cider a day, or drinking sour yogurt - or quercetin. I even know of some people who swear by munching on ground deer antlers. I like that they added something unique - and I like it even better that it does not taste like the evil fermented grossness of the usual Kombucha flavor.
