What would make a Blueberry Pomegranate Pit Bull energy drink even better? By removing the calories and leaving the sweet delicious flavors coming through. This is one of the best energy drinks I have ever tasted - and no surprise it is by Pit Bull. These small 8 ounce cans are filled with such sweet nectar - if only larger or stronger...

So why do they make the diet drink in such incredibly small cans? OK, not incredibly, but these seem to only be in the 8 ounce slim cans, as opposed to the larger 16 ounce size. It is still the same basic design, except there is a little white on the sides of the can. This still follows the bad idea of using the 80s to choose their energy drink fonts, no listing of caffeine, no double facing and the lid is not on right. Basically, if I did not know any better, there is no way I would ever choose this drink from the dozens on the shelf around it.

Of couse, I do know better. Oh My Freakin lord this is good. Really really good. I knew that unless something catastrophic happened with this flavor, if it was even close to the original flavor I was in for a treat - and I was not dissapointed. I so wish this came in a bigger can so I could enjoy it longer - because this is so tasty. It is a complex and slightly tart version of a blueberry pomegranate, with darker berry notes and a hint of citrus. I know people's taste buds are different - but this has gotten rave reviews from everyone who has tried it for me too - this is just Yum.

the problem with these little cans is they lack the power you are looing for an energy drink for. Sure, it has the very standard 80mg along with an undisclosed amount of guarana. It has the standard taurine, ginseng, B vitamin and inositol mix. If this was in the bigger can, it would get a higher score. Using my DMD standard (Diet Mountain Dew), this drink rates exactly the same as a small Red Bull. Of course, having a light amount of enery means I can drink 4 or 5 of these in a day and not overdo my caffeine quotent - but I still wish more much more oomph.
