Crunk!!! Mango Peach

Crunk!!! has done it again, coming out with another satisfying and completely delicious energy drink flavor. Also, like any good Crunk!!!, it is also full of a bunch of adaptogenic herbs, nutrients and enough energy to really get your Crunk on. I am not sure how you could appear so legit while drinking a drink called Peach Mango, (seems a little frou frou to be sippin' in the hood), but the full-bodied flavor of ripe mangoes with the subtle juiciness of natural peaches really hits the spot.

Taste:10
Wow! This is the best of all the Crunk!!! Flavors, and that is really saying a lot. I have really enjoyed all the Crunks, and this was not only a surprise treat, but definitely worth buying. There was no medicinal flavor and no nasty aftertaste either. This was so good I mixed it with some decent tequila for a tasty Energy Sunrise - and it was a surefire winner.

Nutrition/Buzz: 9
Like the other Crunk flavors, , this is loaded with some really good stuff. This has Inositol, Damiana (Whole Plant), Licorice (root), L-Tyrosine, Horny Goat weed, N Acetyl L-Cysteine, Ginkgo Biloba (leaves), Panax Ginseng (root), Grape seed extract, Skull Cap (whole plant), White Willow (bark), Ashwagandha (Root), Milk Thistle (seed). There is over 200mg of caffeine in here, with 196mg of disclosed caffeine, then bumped up with guarana and green Tea extract.

I felt a good 3 or 4 hours of solid non-jittery energy, and tapered off slowly. Usually, high fructose corn syrup in drinks gives me a sugar boost, but then lets me down hard with the crash, but I experienced a nice letdown from this - barely noticeable and very smooth. The calorie count is high - about 240 per can. If only there was a sugar free version of this drink - that would be amazing! Until then, this drink is still very very nice.

Packaging:8
Like most of Crunk!!!'s packaging, the really sold it with the design. You can tell what you are getting into with this bright orange mango can, and the logo and fonts are all very nicely done and very easy to read. I love how the black blends into the purple, but they still leave the area behind the logo bare metal to set off the name. They also double face the cans, so it is easy to place on cooler shelves. They also place the lid right, so you have their logo facing outward while drinking from the can. The only issue is they don' t list the caffeine in the can - which I think is a misstep. while not a revolutionary design, they created something both beautiful and functional.
