Ammo Citrus Ice

What does it say about a company when they send you 60 samples of an energy drink, and you run out.
Bevolutions Very graciously sent me 5 boxes of Ammo, in the three flavors I have reviewed. I don't know how it happened, except that my boxes are all empty - and there is no more Ammo Citrus Ice to fuel my days. I already am missing it.

Taste:10
This is by far the best of all the flavors of Ammo, which were pretty good to start with. Citrus Ice tastes like a lighter Mountain Dew syrup - more candied and sweet than any actual natural citrus flavoring. But I am OK that - and actually appreciate the fake citrus flavor. It works very well by itself with a strong mountain dew flavor. Orange juice works. Sprite works, Coca Cola works. Hell, even water works. This will easily turn any yummy drink in to a superhero drink.

Buzz:9
And the buzz from this drink is just as great as its taste. Like the others, it has 171mg of caffeine, along with all the other things you expect from an energy drink, like b12, gingko biloba, acetyl-l, dmae, l-carnitine, bacopin and vinpocetin. This is not a functional drink in any way, just a powderkeg of energy in a tiny tube. I get about 3 good hours of energy out of this, very nice and smooth. I never got jittery from it, even when I slammed the tiny one ounce bottle with nothing chasing. The only problem with this that I saw is that they are waay to easy to consume - and you end up going through them too fast. If only this was a bit more chalky and biter, I would not have burned through all of them. But as it is, it's like having a ready made powerhouse of an energy soda whenever and wherever you want.

Packaging:8
I love the cool packaging and the way they got such a high quality wrap around a thin 1 ounce unbreakable bottle. The whole thing is very slick and nicely done. I like the little tick marks on the side so you can tell how much you have consumed, and the whole military concept, with the green lightning works beautifully.
