5150 juice

This is truly one of the most versatile and unique products out of the over 450 I have tried. 5150 Juice is 500mg of caffeine in a little 1 ounce shot. It is supposed to be mixed with you favorite foods in small capful doses to make anything you like a bit more explodey.

All I have to say is WOW! The little drop of caffeine makes everything more fun. Why bother with your morning coffee when you could just get your morning caffeine fix from a hopped up glass of chocolate milk! Dont' feel like milk? Thats OK, Just one capful of this elixir and it can caffeinate everything from your oatmeal to your yogurt! I know. I have tried it in both.

Now by itself, I found a harsh, bitter flavor to the juice. It is definitely nothing you want to consume straight from the bottle. However, in drinks and foods you can barely taste it! That is part of what makes this so much fun. I tried it in about a dozen things, just to see what works.

GOOD: Guinness Beer ( really - no joke!), Chocolate milk, sodas and weak energy drinks, coffee and coffee drinks, caramel yogurt, bottom shelf martinis, chunky salsa and chicken soup with rice. Basically, anything with a strong flavor of any sort does great!
BAD: things with a light subtle flavor, like a bowl of Cheerios, Buttered toast, light white wine, carbonated water, skim milk, you get the picture. Any time the flavor can come through, it is no pretty - but in anything strongly flavored this stuff just kicks a**. For your next all night party, pop a whole bottle into some queso dip and crackers and everyone will have a rockin' time!

The rush depends on what you put it in as well. I takes a long time when you add it to your ketchup with a burger, because your stomach needs to process all that food - so the buzz is very gradual and mellow. Adding it to a six ounce Mountain Dew and Chugging goes straight tot he brain for a jittery good time! And of course, since you are adding in the amount, the buzz is in your hands.
Although this is mainly caffeine, they also add some B12, B6 and a few other ingredients to help preserve it. This stuff is really a Caffeine Connoisseur's dream.

LOVE IT! I know, it could use some way to accurately measure out the doses - and I am sure it could use some sort of nifty marketing scheme - but there is something so... Repo Man about it - jus so generic and straightforward. Like this is some serious stuff you got off some small time company. It's not corporate or slick - jus some crazy caffeine in a tiny bottle - potent and a little scary. As an everyday Item for the masses, it is going to need a lo of retooling - but for those who take our caffeination (yes, it's now a word) more intensely, this is, without doubt, the stuff to get.
