Energy shots, by and large, are not drinks one would keep around as a style choice. Even the most dignified caffeine fiend would hide any cheap white plastic bottles of 5 hour eyesores deep in their briefcase. The best thing any upwardly mobile professional could do would be to empty it into a medicine bottle and pretend they have some horrible disease.

Until now. Energy Shots beware, there is a new product coming from England that not only has tremendous power and energy, but also is one of the coolest looking energy shots I have ever seen in my life. Ubershot energy is one of those products that could radically change the face of the energy shot market, representing a more ‘socially acceptable’ element of energy shots.

This red aluminum shot bottle looks like nothing else in the category. Plus, their ingredients put them far above most shots available statewide. If only the taste was delicious, this would own the energy shot category completely.

Not that this tastes rreally bad, by any means, but it is not something that tastes really good. The flavor is a tart undefinable berry flavor, with enough sucralose to make things sweet without being overbearing. It did not make me pucker, or shudder as it does down, unlike so many shots I have had in the past. However, you could tell that flavor was not the main concern here, as it still tasted bitter, with a light laboratory aftertaste. Still, with all those energy ingredients, creating a mask for the bitterness was not easy, and achieved decent results.

As a mixer, this drink works well with so many cocktails, especially if you mix them in even amounts. On a particularly sluggish morning, I added two ounces of tequila and a shot of lime for a brilliant eye-opener.

According to all their literature, this is supposed to kill your afternoon slump. And it does this easily, knocking back any drowsiness you might have had and boosts you well into dinnertime.
They pack 210 mg caffeine in here, more than most energy shots and WAY more than most energy drinks as well. On top of that, you can find a big dose of Taurine, Glucuronolactone, L-Carnitine, Tyrosine, Malic Acid , and an overload of B vitamins.

While not an insane dose of energy, there is easily a good three hours of alertness and energy, and all with only 5 calories and no carbs.

The only word for this drink is Stunning . I love aluminum energy drink packaging for energy drinks, but I never even dreamed of an aluminum energy shot bottle. This little bottle is a work of art. It is slick with its satin deep red finish and the awesome white U logo is amazing. The entire packaging is minimalist and uncluttered. This has to go down as one of my all time favorite packaging jobs.
