Rarely do I get a chance to recommend a drink to fully as I do with Ripped Force, a drink meant for athletes and high impact workouts that need that extra Oomph.
Being woken up by a phone call from a solicitor at 4:30 in the morning, I knew what kind of day the universe had in store for me. I was supposed to do an intense workout in the gym that morning, and I had a HUGE project at work. The one thing I could not do today is be sluggish and slack off. ; Getting only 4 hours of sleep and needing a tonnage of energy, I knew no normal energy drink would do.
Ripped Force managed to not only get me through a grueling workout with energy to spare, I still managed to get to work bright eyed and fully awake. While I would not take this just hangin' round the cubicle, I am going to have to keep a few of these around just for those kinds of days. I drank the bottle according to the instructions, waiting 20 minutes before my workout and drinking half, then drank the rest while working out. While I barely made it to the gym out of sheer exhaustion, by the first 10 minutes on the machines I turned into a monster!

So what is in this stuff that worked so well? Their First unusual ingredient is a proprietary thermogenic Energy blend called !!!!!!!!. This is a blend of L-Tyrosene, Bitter orange and something called Octopamine. This is a chemical cousin to synephrine and ephedrine, but has not really been proven to do a whole lot for humans. One of the things I can attest to is it has a STRONG thermogenic effect. This is where your body temp. rises, while you workout and cool off. This hot and cold sensation is supposed to not only help you lose brown fat, but also aides in boosting energy (not to mention you sweat so much you'd think you went swimming). This is the same stuff that you can find in Redline Rush - and makes your body get the shivers if you are not doing anything athletic.
There is 200mg of caffeine in here to help you actually get to the gym, as well as boost your energy level, The 90 calories are really not bad, seeing as they are not really empty, but used an burned off during the workout. electrolytes. While this drink would be a waste out of the gym, it works very well doing what it was meant to do.

All this, and it tastes good too! I was skeptical of the flavor, as the instructions because my last 3 workout drinks I tried definitely did not quench my palate during high impact workouts. Maybe it was the potassium and electrolytes in here, but I actually felt more refreshed drinking this in the middle of a workout, like sucking on a grape otter pop. While it might not be as fantastic when not being physical, it was pretty dang yummy in the middle of a long jog.
Packaging:9
Like the other ABB drinks, I love their hand fitted bottle - perfect for using again and again - especially in the large 22 ounce size. It lists all the ingredients including a total caffeine value - which I really like. Their side panel helps you make sure this is really the drink for you and your workout. This is a great way to help fit the consumer to the product if you have quite a lot of similar products. Other than coming in a squeeze bottle, This is about the best package you could get.
